My first 2 years with the NA were blissful. I loved that car and the power it delivered was more than adequate. The more I got involved with TT.Net and the more trips I made which showed me really fast turbo cars, the less appealing my NA became. I considered nitrous to get my NA up to par with what most of you guys usually put down on the streets daily. I actually almost bought a NOS kit, but then the same question you asked hit me like a ton of bricks. What's the point of being able to put down 300hp 1% of the time?? The truth was my NA would always be an NA, it wasn't meant to put down big numbers. How rediculous would it be to carry a 300hp "potential" without being able to harness it on a daily basis? I stayed away from Nitrous all together and the rest is history... :) My point: You're completely right, the high HP car would be great for 1% of the time (on the dyno for example) but that doesn't justify all the time and money you would have invested. I'd vote for smaller turbos with all the low-end mods you could find (i.e. NA tranny, UD pulley?, good intake/exhaust, nitrous) over a giant turbo car. George
